Costa Rica's South Pacific offers several very different white water rafting experiences, and choosing the right river matters.
Dominical Adventures currently operates rafting trips on the Savegre, Chorro, Guabo and Coto Brus rivers. Each route has its own combination of rapid class, trip length, scenery and physical challenge.
The Savegre is our most approachable current rafting option, with Class II–III rapids and no previous rafting experience required. Chorro, Guabo and Coto Brus are listed as advanced experiences and are better suited to guests looking for a stronger river challenge.

A scenic rafting experience combining manageable rapids, rainforest views and a waterfall stop.
The current Savegre experience does not require previous rafting experience.
Best starting point: travelers looking for an introduction to rafting or a balance between river adventure and nature.

A more technical river experience with steep drops, narrow canyon sections and fast-moving water.
This is not presented as a beginner river.
